The lower second half of the screened in porch roof get some shading. I was eating lunch yesterday, sweltering, sheet and stapler mid-bite, done. Dividends collecting!!!
As I’m not here half the time “normally” and spring was, how shall we say, not so sunny, the first upper portion of the roof was shaded keeping some heat off the house. It finally got hot enough to deem shading the lower portion.
For perspective, about a decade ago in April, Deedles was visiting after a cool gray visit to coastal Alabama, and it got hot enough to shade the whole thing!
It’s been odd skipping a week of work, a pleasant reminder of how lovely August is upta camp. I’m horrible with math and numbers so loosing track, but it’s more the PRACTICE of counting blessings that matters to me!
