(By pulling off the chain side pannier, leaving layers and cover in Round Pond) grabbed my groceries and gently flew home with a lovely tail wind. I could FEEL the rain behind me! (I was FIFO @ work and they all wanted me to beat the rain, I left early as the forecast was doomsday for business 👎🏼)
Roads were mostly dry, evidence of rain was everywhere, roads weren’t too clogged up, save Route One of course (Searsport is all torn up, doing drainage, sidewalks and tree work before the much needed fixing of the road!) and got tucked in before the rain hit. I’m NOT watering any gardens today…
The absence of weight and drag was noticeable and MINCX politely tore it up heading DownEast, full on Git ‘Er Done mode. Walking up to the store to see if the brake pads have been delivered so I can instal them. Good rainy day project, YouTube mechanic in the house (aka “garage”)
