I love my “three finger folding” control levers on btwxd so much I explored option for MINCX. Found some, not expensive, but clearly not as awesome as the Zeta aftermarket levers on btwxd.
No instructions, you can guess where they were made, and I took apart the wrong thing attempting to instal. I had to stop, take a few breaths, collect myself. There’s no way I can explain the three revolving pieces that sandwich the lever spacer, a spring and tiny ball bearing on the outside. That’s overwhelming enough, but I got it back together, and installed.
It’s a victory on a variety of levels, and though I don’t like them as much as the btwxd control levers, it’s an upgrade, and felt good to diversify my activities from restaurant work. I don’t dislike the latter, it’s just nice exercising diversity.
More complicated than it needs to be. Installing the brake side will be much easier….
