Was an incredible 360* view, ocean likely visible on clear day. Outskirts of Columbia (Falls?). Lovely breeze and the sounds of forestry and blueberry land management mixed with bird song. (Saw a brilliantly orange bird with black wings atop a spruce, photo not worth sharing, cam doesn’t zoom well)
Even the photo gives me a little vertigo! A couple stair treads were missing, others rotted, but bereft of “No Trespassing” signs.
The track up turned out to be extreme, but btwxd managed after righting her once. Amazed we didn’t bottom out coming down, the bionic little bomber that could!!
A little tar south of the tower and we plunked onto the Sunrise Trail at mid mark, rode west to Ellsworth
