And my girlfriend cried

You got stink foot, stink foot

I ain’t lying, can you rinse it off, do you suppose?

Your stink foot puts the hurt on my nose!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

No, I don’t have a girlfriend, and I likely scrambled/butchered the Zappa lyrics, but you likely get the picture. Play the song, it’s hilarious!!!

I don’t have snakeskin boots either (listen to song, I’m telling you!) but my trusty several year old Tech 1 AlpineStar MX boots just acquired STANK, so starting with white vinegar rinse. It kills the bacteria that is the stank.

They got wet, it’s going to be a wet riding season, and I despise “waterproof” boots as the stank is so much faster (they are purported to breathe, ahem, relative term….). So I’ll see what I can do with these trusty low end MX boots. Lighter fancier ones are many hundreds of dollars, I don’t see the need.

I did find a deal on waterproof “adventure” boots and broke them in amidst my indoctrination to motocamping, they already are brewing stink after a couple weeks of (full) riding days. When boots don’t breathe, sweat accumulates, stank is inevitable…(I was changing my socks and using foot powder, will I wash my feet daily while motocamping? Prolly not)

They feel like ballet slippers compared to MX boots, in part because they don’t offer the same protection (mainly lateral ankle & tib/fib anti busting support). I do love them though….

I’ll be donning them in the morning before it rains, I’ll show you
