It’s a long and involved process

But I’m addressing the stove issues.

Today I shorten the chimney, making cleaning easier. I’ll be installing a cleanout at the bottom, and likely rebuilding the bench.

I’m May rebuild the stove itself, but first addressing complications in the flu path. The J-tube was so voracious it made little mind of them.

The new stove is more delicate, and the cast iron top complicates things immediately. I’m hoping the downstream simplifications will allow me to keep the top
