Good Morning

From Round Pond! The work ball is rolling at Muscungous Bay Lobster (MBL). We aren’t up to full steam, but it’s been a successful opening weekend. Most patrons are local and regulars, appreciative and glad to be dining on the dock in 2023.

We aren’t up to full staff yet, but making do, a good match for the medium sized crowd. Both will bolster soon enough.

The sun is sparkling off the bay as I enjoy the immersion of leaping waves on granite and the copious bird chatter in the new leaves. My “summer” has started and it will be full steam ahead until October.

A taste of the coming season coming today as temps will soundly reside in the 80’s, perhaps tickling low 90’s. Game on!

I’ll be heading upta camp first thing tomorrow, Monday as staffing is shy and I’ll help close (the kitchen). Typically I work an earlier shift Sunday and ride home in the late light. It’s been a good start to the season, I’m embracing the balance and exploring the “Do List” at the P~pad, pondering how much work to accomplish without loosing “fun” and not recharging for the (paid) work week.
