Sorted delivery. The bite valve is magnetic. I custom inserted a rare earth magnet in the papoose (aka front pocket) which it’s clinging to here, the magnet it comes with is visible on the webbing above where the bite valve is. (As a motorcyclist, the left hand can only be the drinking hand as the right is occupied with the throttle!!)
WAY impressed with the Gregory bladder, hoses (quick detach two part system) bite valve. It’s clear why the reviews blew away the others in the field. Why, I ask, WHY hast Nalgene entered the bladder market? If they are taking Gregory as the litmus, it would be easy to infer they don’t want to compete with Goliath.
The true test comes next week in the field, on the road, mobile hydration on the fly!
