Than gas, but I’d rather spend time on a ferry than a freeway! I’m booked in Digby, one boat daily leaves at 4p, a 2 hour ferry ride, drops me an hour from the border in St. John. Oughta be home around dark.
Next time I come up here it’ll be on a bigger bike, and I’ll be able to book a hostel on Cape Breton…(maybe, depending on season. It’s a short window up here!)
And as for today, Canso is a haul, going to poke around and wend my way back to Halifax. I didn’t know it was as big a city as it is, not my cup of tea but worthy experience.
